The 2010 Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Festival at Blackwater Ski Area offered ski jumping on four hills: 10 meter, 18 meter, 34 meter and 38 meter. Final scores are based on the best two of each skier's three jumps, and each jump score is the sum of the skier's jump distance in meters and the two judges scores. On the smallest hill, the 10 m, limited judges scores were used, while on the other three hills (18, 34 & 38 m), the traditional 20 point judges scale was used. Skiers competing on the smaller hills were asked to choose the 10 or the 18 meter jump, but not both. Likewise jumper were asked to choose the 34 or the 38 meter jump, but not both. A stiff breeze put extra bite in the chilly air.

AOC Nordic Combined Competition

Nordic Combined competitors were divided into five age categories Junior-4 skiers raced 1.5 km Junior-3's and Masters raced 3.0 km Junior-2's and Junior 1's raced 5 km Each category was handicapped using the Gunder method Junior-4 skiers earned their NC points on the 18 meter jump Junior-3 skiers earned their NC points on either the 18 or 34 meter jump Junior-2, Junior-1 and Masters competitors used 38 meter results

Lussi in 3 km, but Miles held him off by one second to take a bronze medal.
