Warm weather forced the host ski clubs to postpone the Hanover and Lebanon weekend of ski jumping from Jan. 13-14 to Jan. 27-28, but finally winter came and the activities were successful. Tom Dodds and his crew prepared the three Oak Hill jumps and skiers came from New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Rhode Island to enjoy competition in the Upper Valley. Lack of snow made the planned Nordic Combined competition impossible. Competitons on the two smaller jumps, the 10 and 20 meter hills, used two judges and the simplified scoring system, adding the distance in meters to the two judges scores. Each competitor took a trial ride and two scoring jumps, and all three distances are listed below.
