The Annual Andover Outing Club Ski Jumping Festival for 2006 offered jumping competition on four hills, 10m, 18m, 34m & 38m, followed by a cross country race for Nordic Combined.
On the two smallest hills, simplified style judging was used, and in all but three of the seventeen competition classes, skiers were scored on the best two of their three jumps. In the other three classes (Junior II, Open & Masters) jumpers were scored on the last two of their three jumps, the first round being a trial ride.

NORDIC COMBINED EVENTS

Nordic Combined competitors were divided into five competition categories by age and gender. The Junior-IV skiers raced 2.5 km while all others raced 5 km.
Each category was handicapped using the Gunder method.
Junior-IV skiers earned their NC points on the 18 meter jump, while Junior-II and Masters competitors used 38 meter results.
The class below designated "Junior-4 Boys" actually mixed all the 18 meter boys from Junior-3 up to Junior-5.
