Schuler Cup Tryout

With all the U.S. ski jumpers gathered in Lake Placid, USST coaches decided to add another
competition to the Annual Fourth of July ski jumping festivities. The added meet was
held on July 3rd with just three style judges and with distances measured by a committee
from the judges stand. Both the July 3 and July 4 meet were used as tryout meets for
the Schuler Cup competition in Europe, and both were also used for the National
Ranking List.
