In February 2001, SWSA will celebrate its 75th anniversary and hopes to bring back hundreds of past competitors for a grand reunion.

Taylor Hoffman came to Salisbury hoping to take home the
big silver Satre Trophy. His name appears on the cup twice, and he only
needed one more Sunday victory to make the big bowl his own. When the weekend
was over, Taylor had done everything except that: victory Saturday,
two jumpoffs, and a new hill record.
As for Taylor taking home the bowl, Ryan Cutter had other ideas. The two fought it out
down below the 65 meter K-point. Ryan banged down a 70 meter
jump, just half a meter short of Taylor's one day old hill record,
and put the name "Cutter" on the cup, shading Hoffman by a slender point and a
half. Taylor will have to wait until next year.
