Jack Edward Schultz, 79, Englewood, Florida, formerly of Venice, Fla., and Hamden, Conn., died Nov. 29, 2007.
Services will be at Beecher and Bennett Funeral Home, Hamden CT, with burial in All Saints Cemetery, New Haven, Conn. Local arrangements are by Englewood Community Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Muriel H.; a son, Mark C., and a daughter, Jacqueline A., both of Hamden; and a granddaughter.

I believe that Jack started jumping in far western New York state, but lived most of his life in Connecticut. Jack and his wife Muriel were fixtures at Eastern competitions until he retired from judging and they moved to Florida. DCW
We received the news of Jack's death from Earle Murphy, who wrote that Jack had
been dealing with cancer. Roy Sherwood assures us, through Art Tokle, that Jack's
death was a gentle one.
