How Do You Jump that for the First Time?
Of course, a ski jumper doesn’t just jump off a huge hill right away. It takes years of training and you start from a much smaller ski jump. Typically, a beginner starts on a ten meter hill which permits jumps of only thirty to forty feet. A jumper usually jumps for five or six years before attempting an Olympic-sized hill and many skiers enjoy entire careers while jumping on hills of forty meters and down.
