Eastern Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined Foundation, Inc.
(formerly, the Eastern U.S. Ski Jumping Committee)

The national governing body for ski competition in the United States is the U. S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA). Concerns specific to ski jumping in the Eastern Division of the USSA are the business of the Eastern USSA Ski Jumping Committee, which convenes in the spring and fall of each year, and which sponsors this web page.
In recent years, the Committee has found itself increasingly concerned with raising funds to support its programs. For this reason, in 2002, the Committee has established itself as a charitable foundation called the Eastern Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined Foundation, Inc. with 501(c)(3) status which makes all contributions tax deductible as allowed by law .

Eastern U.S. Ski Jumping Officials

For high level competitions, the Ski Association assigns five style judges who assign style scores to each jumper on each competitive jump. (Smaller meets may use three judges.)
Each meet also has an official Technical Delegate and Assistant T.D.from the Ski Association whose job is to see that the rules for safe and fair competition are followed.

In the eastern USA, certification and assignment of these officials is done by the USSA Eastern Jumping/Nordic Combined Officials Association.
