Meet the Athletes: Ski Jumpers in the Eastern USA
Pictures of many young Eastern Ski Jumpers
Young jumpers grow and mature. Athletes move on and new youngsters burst on the scene. The last edition
of Meet the Eastern Athletes page was three years old so we obtained new photos and created this update.
The previous version is still available in Grampa's Attic and we
comment below on some of the faces that have disappeared.

Where are they now?
Here are some short notes about jumpers who appeared in prior "meet the athletes" pages.

- In 2006, Willy Graves stepped up to the U.S. Nordic Combined Ski Team.
- David McCahill is studying hard at Harvard, but comes around occasionally.
- Matt Delaney takes college courses, works at High Peaks Cyclery, and skis a little.
- After the Torino Games, Jed Hinkley and Carl VanLoan retired from the USST.
- Brian Welch is studying at Purdue University.
- Brothers Morgan & Robbie Goodwin are both studying at Williams College.
- Jonathan Kling is studying at WPI and jumping when he can.
- Brian Farnham is studying Pre-Law at Suffolk University in Boston.
- Sam Burke took a few jumps before leaving for University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
- Since 2003, Marshall Ambros has concentrated on XC and will go to UVM in the fall.
- Instead of jumping, Ryan Short is concentrating on bicycle racing.
- Ryan Cutter is in Park City working at the Olympic jumps.
- Ariel Picton is at the Taft School in Watertown, CT and didn't jump in 2006.
- Molly Stone graduated from Williams College and teaches in San Francisco.
- Lindsey Van is home in Park City where she is a pillar of the U.S. Womens Team.
- Laura McLane left us to attend St. Michaels College.
- Marie Pierre Morin has not jumped for several seasons.
- After a season in Park City, Chris Decker is a student at American Univ. in DC.
- Jon Farnham. Jr. and Matt Risch are concentrating on their college studies.
- Jamie Tuttle is in Lake Placid helping Larry and jumping a little.
- Geoff Howe is back at Gunstock hoping to restart the GNA program.
- Chris Baker hopes to fit some jumping between his college studies.
- Eric Smith is coaching in Lebanon and hopes to jump a little.
- Brian Squires is defending the country in the armed forces.
- Chris Jones is back after a spell in Coleraine, MN.
- Tobin Whitman, finished at Gettysburg College and jumped in LOC meet.
- Jeremy Carter jumped a little in 2005, but not since then.
